A new landscape plan was created to enhance the beautiful stone facade of the St. Lawrence O’Toole’s Church located in Brewster, New York. The plant materials were specifically chosen to not over power the entrance to the church yet create a natural looking base of the historic church. A new service building, parking lot and a burial section of the cemetery were created to enhance the function of this historic cemetery. The new burial section was created on an unused wooded portion of the property. A new loop road was created to provide vehicular connection. A great deal of thought went into preserving as much of the natural woodland, creating a rolling meadow and providing adequate space for future expansion of the cemetery.
